I’m Clare Rafferty — online coach, athlete, and part of the HYROX Global Team. I’ve coached hundreds of athletes towards their race goals, and I also work behind the scenes as a Race Direction Manager and Elite Head Judge at international events, including the HYROX World Championships.

WHAT LEVEL ARE YOU?

  • Your step-by-step build from zero HYROX experience to race-ready. Four sessions per week with an ‘optional’ fifth session. Ideal for someone looking to build on 2x strength and 2x runs based sessions per week who maybe attends some classes. 5th session there for weeks when you want to do a little more.

  • For athletes chasing that sub-90 breakthrough. You should have a little race experience or have a half marathon time of sub 2 hours on this plan. You will have 5 sessions per week with an optional 6th session. Sessions are a little longer that first race with more volume.

  • For experienced racers ready to push their limits and find every second. You should be confident you can run a race in under 90mins and are looking to push your limits and training volume to achieve new limits. This has up to 6 days training with additional base work and running elements.
